| The east wind grew stronger by mid-morning, giving us an incentive to string out in small groups or pelotons in order to cut our wind resistance to a minimum. Though the sun was still shining, fingers of ocean mist began to encircle the high headlands surrounding the seaside village of Rivière-à-Claude. The good news: Only 10 more kilometers to our halte-dîner (lunch stop) at Mont-St-Pierre! |
